Fixed Blade Multipurpose Clubs

Chapter twelve provides a detailed examination of nonadjustable clubs that were usable in more than one way. Such multipurpose clubs usually have two or more faces designed to strike the ball. Duplex woods, duplex irons, two-face heads, three-face heads, four-face heads, and others are presented.

  • This Kempshall duplex head was patented in November of 1903 by Willie Dunn Jr. The head is made out of pyralin, a type of vulcanized rubber.
